Available Executive Director The Housing Authority of Piatt County (IL) is looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Executive Director. This full time position reports to a five member Board of Commissioners. Responsibilities consist of a variety of tasks involved in the day to day management and administration of this county wide agency which consists of a total of 60 Low income Public Housing units. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to have a long term impact on the repositioning of the agency. The ideal candidate will be able to show the ability to network and develop relationships with social service and government agencies and possess the skills to work effectively with HUD to lead the Housing Authority to fully comply with regulatory requirements. Qualifications for this position require experience in public administration, finance or other appropriate program, and five years experience in property management or supervising of staff, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicant must be bondable, able to pass drug, background and credit check and be able to obtain a PHM HUD Certification within one year of employment. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
